The power of bloggers... This weird story confirms that the blogosphere is a chaotic system... Can bloggers influence Time Magazine and make Kim Jong Un Person of the Year?
With Kim Jong Un's devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman’s dream come true. Blessed with an air of power that masks an unmistakable cute, cuddly side, Kim Jong Un made this blogger’s editorial board swoon with his impeccable fashion sense, chic short hairstyle, and, of course, that famous smile.
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is having the best week ever. After being nominated by The Onion as 2012′s sexiest man alive–and having the announcement subsequently spread across papers in China as if The Onion is a legitimate news source–the meme-friendly leader now has 4chan gunning for Kim Jong Un. The Daily Dot reports that 4chan’s /b/ board is assembling to affect the outcome of Time‘s Person of the Year award.
VOTE Kim Jong Un
Though Time editors technically choose the winner, the magazine also runs a poll on its website for the Internet to decide who is the world’s “Most Influential Person.” Dubbed “Operation: Kim Jung Un for Time’s Person of the Year,” Kim Jong Un is currently ranked number one in the poll, Egyptian president Mohamed Morsy is trailing.
Have we (Bloggers) created a monster?
BTW - my vote goes to Pakistani teen education crusader Malala Yousafzai, who was shot by the Pakistani Taliban
